Why is watermark not printing
The Printed Watermark dialog box appears. From the Font , Size , and Color pull-down lists, make the appropriate selections.
To make the text of the watermark semitransparent, select Semitransparent NOTE: Selecting the Semitransparent option makes text overlapping the watermark more readable. For Layout , select Diagonal or Horizontal. To change the size of the image, from the Scale pull-down list, select the desired size percentage HINT: Selecting Auto ensures that the entire watermark image will fit into your document.
From the Watermark sub-menu, select Remove Watermark The watermark is removed. Adjust the text formatting options as needed. To use an image as a watermark, select File.
Then click Browse and select the image file. If the file has multiple pages with images, specify the Page Number you want. To resize the watermark in relation to the original image file size, enter a percentage in the Absolute Scale option in the Source area of the dialog box. In the dialog box, click Add Files , choose Add Files , and then select the files. Note: You can also add files or folders by dragging them into the dialog box. Follow steps 2 through 6 in the procedure for adding or replacing a watermark with a document open.
When you have finished setting up your watermark, click OK. In the Output Options dialog box, specify your folder and filename preferences and click OK. Note: If you have multiple watermarks in a PDF, this procedure will update only the first watermark you added and will discard all other watermarks.
Click OK to close the printer settings window. After completing the steps above, print one test copy and examine the results before printing an entire job. You can add your own text-based or image-based watermarks to the Watermark list. The following window appears. Do one of the following:.
To use an image file as a watermark, select BMP. Click Browse to locate the bitmap file you want to use, then click OK. Type a name for your watermark in the Name text box, then click Save.
To create a text-based watermark, select Text. Type your text in the Text box. This text will also be used as the watermark name. If you want to change the watermark name, type a new name in the Name text box, then click Save.
